Applied Philosophical Hermeneutic Research: <i>the unmethod</i>

The purpose of this article is to provide insight into the philosophy and practice Applied Philosophical Hermeneutics as a unique approach for research in health sciences. While there are other approaches grounded hermeneutics, focuses on Gadamer’s modern philosophical hermeneutics. During my 18 years hermeneutic researcher, graduate students I have engaged with people wide variety experiences such preventable medical error, Indigenous health, adult adolescent chronic pain, social responsibility higher education, oral care autistic children, living Thalassemia. offers an help bring researchers, clinicians, patients together within community active partnerships research. All these projects employed gain deeper personal understanding diverse groups people. remains somewhat confusing unmethod which may lead dismissive attitude toward approach.
